The summary is artistic but really not that descriptive, so here’s some more detail: the story is set in modern day with protagonists in their late 20s going through life. They’re exes from an unexpected break up meeting each other again when the main character, an interior designer, gets commissioned to decorate the future marriage home of the female lead and her (male) fiancé.

The author notes that it’s neither a sweet nor cruel story, but a realistic one. Which is a somewhat fair evaluation with the social context. But I wouldn’t skimp on the tissues if you get emotionally invested rather easily.
